Collectif Tchan-Zâca
For (re)connecting.earth (02) - Beyond Water, the collective is presenting the interactive installation La Conversation du Cormoran, comprising sculpture, video with live motion picture, audio device and performance by actors.
Prominently displayed at the top of the Bateau Genève, on the port side by the captain's cabin visible from the quays, a sculpted figure appears to be in conversation with a cormorant. This imaginary figure, developed by the Tchan-Zâca collective, is called Seagle. This intriguing being allows the public to have a three-way conversation with the bird for which he acts as interpreter.
On the ground floor of the boat, between the two lounges, the audience can take part in this conversation in the form of an interactive teleconference. Once the dialogue has begun, the avatar, animated in real time on a screen, uses an intelligent device to translate the cormorant's anecdotes into French, making this conversation possible between the immobile migrator and the wandering public.
La Conversation du Cormoran is open from Wednesday to Saturday, between 5 PM and 8 PM from September 13 to 30.
