Anne-Laure Franchette & Géraldine Honauer
Anne-Laure Franchette was born in 1979 in Le Plessis-Bouchard, France, and lives and works in Zurich. She is particularly interested in urban nature and industrial materials, and in questions of transience and the in-between. Géraldine Honauer was born in Aarau in 1986, and lives and works in Basel. As an artist and curator, her work focuses on exploring the dynamics of existing systems. She uses a conceptual and research-based approach in her practice, which includes site-specific installations, interventions in physical and digital spaces, and the use of appropriate materials.
Anne-Laure Franchette and Géraldine Honauer are collaborating for the first time on the occasion of the Biennial (re)connecting.earth - Beyond Water.
