Raul Walch was born in 1980 in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, and lives and works in Berlin. Going beyond the boundaries of mainstream artistic genres, he works as a conceptual artist and slips into the role of performer or researcher in his work. The emphasis is always on an unconventional artistic confrontation with social reality, and it is not unusual for the audience for his work to become an integral part of his performances.
