La Libellule

La Libellule is a nature centre run by the Association La Libellule, whose aim is to raise public awareness of nature in parks, and the region in general.

This nature and environment centre welcomes the public and school classes in the city centre, but is also by the lake, and within one of Geneva's major parks. The building's location, next to a well-known and extremely popular public promenade, attracts a wide audience of Geneva citizens and tourists alike. It is also visited by young people who would not frequent this type of venue if it were not nearby.

La Libellule will host a symposium and participatory lectures on September 2. Nearby will be Uriel Orlow's conceptual garden, a work created with the help of the association's team through cooperation between artists and scientists/naturalists.
