What could be better than taking a break on the shores of Lake Geneva? An oily lake, a peaceful atmosphere and a living Lake Geneva offer an ever-changing spectacle. We invite you to take advantage of these quiet moments to discover the biodiversity of Lake Geneva with one of our specialists in lake fauna and flora. After a first part dedicated to birdlife, the outing continues in the water to admire what's going on beneath the surface. With the help of masks, snorkels and a set of ASL identification cards, this immersion will allow you to discover the gentle movement of aquatic meadows and the molluscs, crustaceans and fish that rest there.
September is the peak of autumn bird migration. The Geneva harbor acts as a funnel between the Alps and the Jura chain. It is therefore possible to observe a number of migratory waterfowl (waders, larids and various ducks). Dawn is the best time of day to observe these birds, which sometimes rest on the beach or in the reed beds bordering the lagoon.
The outing continues in the water to admire what's going on beneath the surface!
Limited registration, via the Association pour la Sauvegarde du Léman - ASL website.
