Zheng Bo was born in Beijing in 1974 and lives and works in Hong Kong. Committed to inclusive multi-species relations, they produce performances and videos, community workshops and drawings in which standard notions of human-plant coexistence are challenged, allowing imaginative thinking to lead to what the artist sees as ‘posthuman vibrancy’.

Through a socially - and ecologically - engaged artistic practice, Zheng Bo charts an alternative path that does not emphasise a human-centred vision of the world, but instead strives to establish a sensitive interconnection between all living beings.
